Masonry refers to the process of building something from component parts, usually fitted together by mortar. Commonly used masonry materials include brick, stone, concrete blocks, tile, and glass blocks. Dry stone masonry is the building of something usually a fence or border from stones fitted together without mortar. Dry stone masonry, like the other types of masonry, is very durable.
